Elena was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Victor Enrique Castro, whom passed away in 2013.
Elena was survived by: her children, Elena Campuzano, Patricia Novoa, Carlos Castro, Susana Gartman, and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Elena will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 10:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1500 California Ln, Arlington, TX 76015.
