

Estelle Evans Campos was called home to our Lord on July 15, 2021. She was born on January 21, 1932 in El Paso Texas where she spent most of her life. Estelle also lived in Europe, Cloudcroft, New Mexico and in her latter years she lived close to family in Arlington, Texas.
Estelle was a loving mother to six children, a grandmother to fourteen and a proud great- grandmother of twelve.
After becoming widowed as a young woman she managed her late husband's Automotive Shop for several years. Estelle found the workforce hard but with determination and hard work, she picked up the skills she needed. Estelle was hired as a receptionist for two prominent doctors, Drs. Golding and Davidson. When the practice was closed due to retirement, she had earned the position of Office Manager. She managed the El Paso Tennis Club and Tennis West Racquet Club in El Paso, Texas. After her mother passed, Estelle went back to Europe where she stayed with her dear sister-in law, Violet Campos. Estelle tried different jobs but finally took a position at a US Base NCO Club working as the Operations Assistant. Estelle and her friends traveled to all the places they had talked about.
When Estelle returned to the States she worked for the Hospice division of Visiting Nurses. She enjoyed her work as the Volunteer Coordinator until her retirement. Estelle was honored by El Paso Community College Senior Adult Program for her work as Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice of VNA, an award given to 10 inspiring women.
Estelle is survived by her sons : Joe Campos and Mark Campos of Dallas, Texas, Carl Campos of San Francisco Bay, California, Robert Campos of El Paso Texas, and daughters: Carol Leech of Westbend, Indiana and Celine English of Arlington, Texas.
