I am verry sorry for the loss of your loved one. I just now found out Uncle Henry passed away. Our condolences.

My heart and prayers go out to each of you. I will always carry his memory with me.. I am proud to have known him and his family.

Henry was my favorite uncle. He taught me many things and the love of fishing and steel melting hot food. I enjoyed spending time with him. I was upset my schedule would not allow me to come to honor him. I am grateful for his service to this country and his quiet strength. I hate that I have missed alot of years with him.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Wow. Henry will truly be missed. Even though he retired we would always look out the window for his truck to pull up, and smile when it did. He was one of the best co-workers anyone could ever have. He would go out of his way just to offer a hand, or cheer anyone up with laughs. He was a grand pa, father, and friend to alot of us at work too. My prayers go out to his family.

Henry was definitely a one of a kind. I will never forget all his war stories or tech savvy and fishing advice he gave. Such a wonderful man with a huge heart. You will be dearly missed. My condolences to his family.

The words "I am sorry for your loss" cannot bring the comfort I wish I could give to my Aunt Marlene and my cousins, Christy, Raymond, and JB.  Uncle Henry was a wonderful husband and father.
As a child, visiting the family brought me so much joy. I have such fond memories of our trips to Childress.  
I wish I could be closer to you all, to hug your necks, and to tell you face to face that I am sorry.  I love each of you, and will pray for God's comfort and peace as you lay this great man to rest.

I loved working with Henry, he always made me laugh.

I worked with Henry for seventeen years. What a great guy. If you ever needed a part, just ask Henry, he knew where everything was.

I new Henry because i married his younger brother Jerry Wayne McCoy. We made a trip to Lawton Oklahoma in 78 or 79  Henry and family had just came back from Germany. and was living there close t0 the base. Henry was very intinidating to me "like a drill Sgt" After he had  one of his Heart attack we would go on the week ends to see him and God kept telling me i need to wittness to him and i keep telling God Not Me. and would leave there crying...well i made up my mind this week end i was going to talk to him so Friday night He got a pass to come over to our sleeping quarters so on fri night i Said Henry i have some thing to ask He said WHAT and i started. I asked if he had a personal experance with Jesus Christ and Did He ask God for forgiveness and ask Jesus To come into his life and be his Savior. He immediately said YES and told me when. That changed our relationship from then on i was not nervios around him he was not that drill Sgt. he was and old cuddley Teddy Bear. He was a Great Brother in law would do anything for you and was always there if you needed him even tho his health was not the best he never would let you kinow that but if you new him you might could detect little hints here and there that would show he wasn't feeling good I have great memories of Henry like the time they came for the week end. it was after he finished school for TV repairs. I awoke on sat morning early to Marlene telling Henry you better put Janice's VCR back together before Janice gets up. I told Jerry Wayne go see what your brother was doing. Our VCR was in a hundred pieces all over the kitchen table ...He always keep our TV's and VCR's in the best working order. When They lived in Athens Friday nights where the Best The guys would go fishing for supper and the kids Marlene and I would some times go to the lake and swim and we would have movie night and Popcorn in that big bowl and the best movies. Loved the week ends at each others houses Henry taught me if you truly love some one you don't have to constantly say I LOVE YOU he said those who are for ever saying i love you ...i love you...and a few seconds later...i love you. are the ones who need reassurrig cause its not love but seaking love ( he used the example of a couple that was there that weekend)He was right just think about it ..He also believed in marraige not divorce and hated soap operas cause of that. And boy could he cook a Turkey...Yummm.. and he was going to make sure he caught fish. when they lived in Athens Texas and he would pop by unexpectedly with fresh fish "Crappie" he knew it was my favorite, all cleaned and no worries there would be no bones. Yum fresh fish for dinner Thanks to Henry. I remember on of the last Christmas visits we had at there house before my husband died. Henry and Marlene had gone Christmas shopping and Henry picked out Jerry's and Helens my daughters gift by himself He got his brother a coffee mug it said I LOVE YOU and Helen got Garlic flavor popcorn salt which  He knew she loved. Henry didn't have to say anything the coffee mug said it all and Marlene let me know Henry pick it out. Jerry Wayne loved that mug his brother gave him. Henry didn't have to say a lot of words his actions said a lot. I will truley miss him I did not take the time to go see him very offten after Jerry died and i Realy do regreat that But because of that Friday night in San Antonio and he said YES i know he is rejoysing with family and friends and some day I will see him their and get one of his big old hug...I can't wait to see you again. Henry was intinidating...A Drill sargent type. later in San Antonio i had a conversation with him and he answered my question At a younger age he was Saved and he new Jesus Christ as that savior. after that he was a big old teddy Bear. once they came for a week end visit it was after he finished school for TV repair man i awoke to Marlene excitedly telling Henry he better put Janice's VCR back together...It was in a hundred pieces all over the kitchen table. He always took care of us that way.and i could always expect fresh fish cleaned and with no bones, when they lived in Athens...Henry was a great brother and a great friend I have so many great memories of out times together spent at there house or ours and at the lake Marlene the kids and me Swiming and the boys fishing for supper.Henry you will be missed, only for a short while but i know you are enjoying your time with your brothers your father and Mothers family and friends . Our hearts are sad but I will see you again in Heaven. that is why for only a short time. -Janice McCoy
