James Wade Burris

Wade grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas where he was a football hero for the Grand Prairie Gophers.

He went to work for Chance Vaught where he met the love of his life, Freda Jean Elliott. They celebrated 64 years of marriage together.

He retired in 1999 after 33 years from Bell Helicopter Texron. Then he later enjoyed the leisure of his life RV-ing in Colorado.

Wade is survived by his wife Freda Jean, sons Ricky and wife Marsha, Randy, Ronnie and wife Tahrahn. His sister Kay Miller and husband O.E. Miller, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Wade was a member of Gateway Church, he served the Lord faithfully until the Lord called him home on April 1, 2022.
