James Edward Melton loving son, brother, father and husband; passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Visitation: Friday, January 23, 2015 6-8pm. Funeral Service: Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10am both at Moore and Sons Funeral Chapel Bowen Road. James was born on March 26, 1949, to Mildred and J.L. Melton. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. James worked in the air craft industry for 46 years; he was always ready to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. He loved spending time with his kids. Those preceding him in death are his parents. Survivors include: his wife of 46 years Linda; three daughters, Kim, Tonya and Donna; numerous grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
