

ARLINGTON -- Viola Kathleen Robinson Price, 97, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge. A celebration of life will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel.
Kathleen was born in Kingman County, Kan., on Dec. 17, 1918, to Dana Hoyt and Viola Pearl Robinson. On Dec. 27, 1941, she married her beloved husband, Olga "Doc" Price. Kathleen was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arlington. She was an avid piano player and loved to sing. She worked as a bookkeeper at Bob Cooke Ford, Nowell Dodge and Perzy Heat Treat.
Those preceding her in death were her husband, Olga "Doc" Price in 1989; parents, Dana and Viola Robinson; siblings, Donald, Charles, Maxine Robinson and Wanda Darden; and son-in-law, Don Thornton.
Survivors: Daughters, Kay Thornton of Camas, Wash., Susan Cottrell (Paul) of Georgetown and Karen Murayama (Dalton) of Arlington; grandchildren, Timothy Thornton, Stacey Thornton Smith, Jennifer and Jessica Murayama; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many special nieces and nephews. Kathleen was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by many.
