I will never forget the summer vacation  I was able to spend with Mrs. Kathleen and Mr. Herman. I had never been to Sea World before and Mrs. Kathleen was determined that I was going to go. She was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. I still remember her dogs, the pool and they way her house smelled. Mrs. Kathleen was a very special woman who gave me many special memories that I will always cherish.

Herman, Ken and Bobbie,
My prayers are with you and yours during this time.  Kathleen was a lovely person who enjoyed the fullness of life and knew who she was and to whom she belonged.  She is now with Jesus enjoying her new life I am sure.  I will continue to pray that the Lord gives each one of her family members the comfort and strength that you need in the coming days and years. Herman and Family - Kathy was a wonderful lady who enjoyed life to the fullest.  She was a dedicated member of our Ladies Auxiliary and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  She is loved by many and will be missed.  Special prayers are being sent to you all.

Aunt Casey was a great Aunt and I wish we had lived closer.  We sure had our great times together and I have many fond memories of her and Uncle Hey that I will always cherish. They opened their home to me in the 50's and I Loved being with them and you four little ones. Its something I will never forget. God Bless You All as you travel on without your Mom. She was an exceptional person in my life. Uncle Herman as well.

My daughter, Kathryn, remembers fondly a weekend trip we made to visit Kathleen and Herman in San, Antonio.  Kathleen was the ultimate hostess.  We had our own bath, bedroom with televisions and children's movies, and every kind of snack a young child could ask for.  She was more than prepared for our visit , and she entertained with ease.  Kathleen was determined that we see the "sight's" of San Antonio.  She treated us to a "ladies" lunch at an established department store, and Sea World and Medevil Times.  Kathryn's favorite, however, was playing at the house with the other grandchildren, the pool and the dogs.  We still have the wonderful pictures we took that weekend.  Kathleen delighted in her grandchildren and was their advocate.  She showed no favorites, and made Kathryn feel like one of her own.  Although the name of the department store and a few other things have faded, the impact Kathleen made on us has not.  To the Whites, you have many more memories than we do....may they comfort you today and always.  And to all of us....what an example of unconditional love for children and grandchildren to follow!!
