Lauren was born Sept. 13, 1988, in Arlington, where she grew up. She attended Wood Elementary, where she was on the Wall of Fame (for the highest academic achievers), Boles Junior High and Martin High School, where she played on the tennis team. She cheered for AACU for two years. She attended the University of Arkansas, then returned to Texas where she worked at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth as a massage therapist. Lauren had a contagious smile and loved meeting new people. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She loved her family and never missed a chance to be at a family gathering. She had just begun a new hobby of baking and loved to test gourmet recipes on her family and friends. Everyone knew she could be a top class chef someday. She was an excellent artist and planned on attending UTA this fall. She was a lover of all animals, but mostly boxers. She supported the Legacy Boxer Rescue organization.
