

ARLINGTON - Laurie Burns Fetter, 68, devoted wife and mother, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 23rd. Laurie’s primary passion in life centered on her husband, Jerry, her three children, Jeremy, Judy and Jenny and her young grandson, Grayson. Laurie’s other passion in life was serving Jesus, which weaved the fabric of her life and influence. Laurie was born in Detroit, MI on November 14th and lived in many different places as a child of an Air Force family. Laurie graduated from Eastern Michigan University and had a rich and varied career which included service to her country in the US Air Force and the shaping of the lives of young adults through teaching at Pantego Christian Academy and counseling at Texas Christian University. “Go Frogs” was an integral part of football season. In her retired years, Laurie dedicated herself to service in Bible Study Fellowship International by serving as a member of the administrative team for the Fort Worth Women’s Evening Class.
SERVICE – Church service at McKinney Church, 4805 Arborlawn Drive, Fort Worth 76109 at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 28th. Burial at DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 29th for family only (no viewing).

SURVIVORS – Husband, Jerry Fetter; children, Jeremy and wife, Erin; Judy; Jenny and husband, Shawn, grandson, Grayson; step-daughter Jill and husband, Ernie, and sons Ryan and Alex; step-son Jack and daughter Keely; brother, John and wife, Christina; brother Joel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
