Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, in Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 4216 S. Bowen Road. Interment will follow in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: Family visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
She was born Lora Mae Kearney on Sept. 28, 1942, in Clinton County, Ky., a daughter of Willie Kearney and Nellie Mae Underwood Kearney. She married John Paul Edele on September 4, 1972. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2005.
Survivors: Daughters, Lisa Edele, Cara Edele, Jana Edele and Dana Edele; brothers, Benny Kearney, Charles Kearney and wife, Colleen, Billy Kearney, Eddie Kearney and wife, Robin; seven sisters, Carolyn Meyers and husband, Robert, Virginia Towlin and husband, William, Ellen Kearney, Judy Cain and husband, Roger, Mary Rodriguez and husband, Arnold, Sandra Lara and husband, Ramon, Janet Saragosa and husband, Phillip; and grandchildren, Serene Wood, Jaelyn Van Metre, Averie Hoover and Jameson Jordan.
