Newton Walker Terry III

Col. Newton Walker Terry III. Dub Terry (USAF Retired), Husband, Father, Brother, Granddaddy, Uncle and Friend...Most of all Child of God. He loved the same woman for more than 46 years with whom he has shared his love of Christ.

He is survived by his Love Marilyn, his 2 children; Nathan and Mikela their loves Beth and Gary and 6 Beautiful Grandchildren; Jack, George, Garen, Sara, Micah and Gabe. His 3 sisters, Judy, Joan and Chris and his brother Marion and more family and friends then you can count. Meeting him at the gates of heaven are his parents Newton and Sara Terry. Blessed was this man.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church. Interment will follow with full military honors at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scholarship fund to The Citadel Foundation (Checks to: The Citadel, 171 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC 29409 Memo line: In Memory of Newton W. Terry III) or to the Scholarship fund for those entering/leaving the Seminary with in the United Methodist Church (Checks to SBUMC Memo line: Dub Terry Scholarship fund Mail to: 5011W. Pleasant Ridge Rd. Arlington TX, 76016 These funds will be given to those entering or leaving the seminary to help ease the transition).
