She was born on November 11, 1943, to Ralph and Trella (Fleetwood) Denton in Pasadena, Texas, but grew up in the West Texas area of San Angelo, Seminole and Odessa , and she also lived in the East Texas town of Sulphur Springs and moved to Arlington Texas in 1974.
Teresa loved being a wife and a mother. She enjoyed being a real estate broker, working with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and traveling, but she loved being with her family the most, especially with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, her brothers, Durwood and Kenneth, her sister, Lynna Mae, and grandson, Bryan Burgin.
She is survived by her sons David Burgin and James Burgin (daughters-in-law?), and her grandchildren James Dylan Burgin, Sophie Isabella Burgin, April Grimes, and Corye Callaway, and great-grandchildren Jamie Lynn Burgin, Leo Grimes, and George Wallace.
A graveside service for Teresa will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Parkdale Cemetery, 701 S Mary St, Arlington, TX 76010.
