Travis Samuel Trotter

Early in life he met Juanita Rhodes, who he later married on June 23, 1973. To this union two daughters were born, QuBiiki and Monique. Travis brought to this union one

daughter , Dedra. Travis moved from Chicago to the suburbs of Bolingbrook in 1976 where he lived until 1995. He and his family relocated to the Dallas/ Fort Worth area in September of 1995. Travis was devoted to his family, he enjoyed reading his Bible, taking care of his horses, and playing his trumpet. He was known for his love of music. He learned how to play the trumpet, piano and guitar solely by ear. Travis sadly left us on February 22, 2014 at 11:10AM at UT Southwestern Hospital after battling a long fight with leukemia. Those left to cherish his memories are beloved wife of 40 years Juanita, three daughters , Dedra of Chicago, QuBiiki (Excel), Monique (Bryon), Goddaughter/niece Therese (James), his extended daughter Shantale (Darwin), two sisters Tena, Chlorisse (Marcus and one brother Allen (Diane). 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchilidren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
