Caroline Dixon Clubb

January 4, 1945 – December 10, 2019

(Nancy) Caroline Dixon Clubb, 74, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke County, VA. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

Born in New Bern, NC, on January 4, 1945, she lived in Dale City and Stafford, VA for many years but most recently made her home in Lexington, VA. She loved to learn and could hold a conversation with anyone about anything. After retiring from Intuit, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her children, grand and great-grandchildren, and attending local performances of music, theater, and art.

She is survived by her children John Jr., Samuel (Sam), and Julie, as well as sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John Joseph Clubb, Sr., a daughter, (Frieda) Marie Bagwell, and son, Earle Harry Clubb.

Her funeral will be on Monday, December 30, at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. with the service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd. at Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22201.
