

Charles was born in Leesburg, Virginia, on October 5, 1939, the first born son of Elizabeth and Thomas Titus. The family moved to Arlington when he was five.
Charles graduated from Washington & Lee High School in 1957, and attended Shenandoah College when it was located in Dayton, Virginia.
He spent some years as a plaster and drywall contractor. In 1983 he built Anna Point Marina at Lake Anna which he owned for 25 years. He liked to fish, but was an avid hunter.
Surviving Charles is his wife of 57 years, Judith Jackson Titus, their daughter Cynthia Lynn (Jeff) Greenspan, their son Andrew Charles Titus (Megan) and his two grandchildren David Alden Greenspan (Laura), and Jamie Elizabeth Greenspan, the best grands in the world!
He is also survived by his dear sister, Patricia Shipman; his sisters-in-law, Shelby Titus and Elaine Chestnutt, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of his life memorial service held at the Murphy Funeral Home located at 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA on October 27, 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Virginia Hospital Cancer Center.
