David Montgomery Mitchell

David Montgomery Mitchell (34) peacefully passed away on November 12, 2017. David was born in Phoenix, AZ and moved to Tennessee where he attended Farragut High School and the University of Tennessee. While in high school, he was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. A 10-year resident of Arlington, VA, David worked as a Sales Associate for Target. He is survived by his parents Chuck and Sally Mitchell; brother Bobby Mitchell of Freiburg, Germany; sister Katy Mitchell of Newport, RI; grandmother Barbara McKeehen of State College, PA; and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Friends are invited to gather for his memorial service on Saturday, December 16th at 10am at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, 1500 N Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22207. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Virginia Hospital Center or the National Federation of the Blind.
