

"Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." On Monday, June 9, 2014, the Lord called the spirit of Drucilla Simpson home to be with Him throughout eternity. Drucilla, the third of eight children, was born April 14,1944 in Marion South Carolina to the late Frank and Alberta Graves. All who knew Drucilla, called her "Baille." She truly loved her children, and constantly showed them how much she cared.
Drucilla knew no strangers, cherished friendships, and family reunions. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings and those awesome sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese dishes.
In 1958, Drucilla's family moved from Marion S.C. to Washington D.C. She was educated in the District of Columbia Public School system.
Drucilla was married to Bobby Simpson. From that union two children were born.
From the early 1970's to 2005, Drucilla began employment with the Federal Government at the White House. She gain high recognition and respect as one of the finest employee.
There to welcome her is her father and mother Frank and Alberta Graves, brother Jimmie, and Robert, who preceded her in death. Those she leaves to cherish fond and lasting memories are Sons, Bobby and Robert, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 5 siblings Roberta, Patricia, Johnny, Betty, brother and sister in law Frank and Cynthia Graves, and a host of aunts, uncles, family and special friends.
