I'm so very sorry for your loss, but I take comfort knowing Uncle Chippy is with Aunt Carole now.  I smiled when I saw your dad's picture because for years I had a copy of the same photo on a bulletin board or in my wallet.  All of you and the members of your families are in my prayers.

 We are all thinking about you during this difficult time.  Uncle Chippy was a special person, always with that great sense of humor and contagious laugh.  I know he will be greatly missed by all.  Know that we are keeping you in our prayers.

 As I think back on Uncle Chippy's life, I wanted to share this family photo.  I think it sums up your dad well.  All the cousins/aunts/uncles sitting for a family picture. Everyone looking well behaved at that moment, except for your dad who secretly had given your mom horns in the picture.  Just look at his grin...he surely knew how to have fun and make the most out of every moment in life! I consider myself lucky to have called him my uncle and share in so many of those good times. 

May he rest in peace.

To the entire Thomas family....I know how much you are going to miss Chippy, but as everyone else has said, he's now at peace with his love, your mom! The care you gave him these past months was wonderful and he knew how very much he was loved.  All of you are in the Hartle & Greene families thoughts and prayers.

Chip, I know that you and wife are in the hot tub in the sky.  I remember when you first got it running and you both enjoyed using it. Thanks for our little talks outside about the work we were both doing to our yards and our family stuff.  I still don't believe some of the fishing stories you told me :)

Jimbo, Rex, Carolyn and Ginny, my sincerest condolences to the loss of your father.  I have fond memories of growing up across the street.  He had a unique horseshoe toss, recalled as an easy flip sailing a horseshoe through a flat half turn and many points.  After many years of trying, it has been impossible to duplicate.  I also recall his Silver Star citation from Korea that hung on the wall in the basement...a courage he surely kept.

Jimbo, Rex, Ginny, Carolyn, and family... Your Dad holds a special place in our hearts and we cherish the memories.  We hope you find strength from your large circle of friends and wonderful family.  We're thinking of you...
