Inez Mildred Addison

On May 19th Inez Addison departed life in Arlington, VA at Sunrise Assisted Living with her family by her side. She was born March 20th,1933 in Lawndale North Carolina to the late Elvis Lutz Sr and Lelia Lutz. Inez is survived by daughter, Peggy; son, James; brother, Melvin; sister, Dianne; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Jimmie Lee and daughter, Chrystal Addison Hopper. She attended school in Cleveland County, NC. Inez married Jimmie Lee Addison on April 15th,1947. They were blessed with three children, Peggy, James,and Chrystal. Inez worked at Tops Cleaners for approximately 50 years until retirement in 2018 . She was considered a model by many of the customers and was nominated to be person of the month to NBC4 which she won. Inez was an active member of Warner Baptist Church for many years. She was a devoted member and had a passion for her beloved church and the church family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to many. Things she enjoyed most, family gatherings ,church worship and activities, phone conversations with friends, sports (Dallas Cowboys) and game shows. She recently said "I lived a good life'. A visitation for Inez will be held from 10-11 am on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Warner Baptist Church, 3613 Lacy Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22041. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 28, 2022 11am at Warner Baptist Church with a reception to follow from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A graveside service will occur at 2pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, 8420 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003.
