A graduate of University of Texas at Arlington, she retired with over 30 years of service with the federal government, most recently at the U.S. State Department.
She was preceded in death by her father Washington B. James, Sr. Jacqueline is survived by her mother Helen M. James, of El Paso, TX; sister,Deborah A. James, of Bedford, TX.; brother Washington B. James, Jr. of Amarillo, TX and a host of family and friends. A special thanks to Chuck White, Barbara and Fred Crawford, Steve Pinard, Jim Dandridge, Wilma LaMee and Michael Senko.
Jacqueline attended Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. At Jacqueline's request, no services are scheduled. A private burial is planned in El Paso, TX.
