James Anthony "Tony" Butler, 54, passed away suddenly on May 22, 2018. He is survived by his mother Arylene Butler; daughter Nicole Blackman and son-in-law Aaron Blackman; daughter Toni Butler; daughter Scarlett Gonzalez and son-in-law Austin Gonzalez; stepson Colt Martini; grandchildren Alora Blackman, Jayden Williams, Alena Blackman, Kal Blackman, and Isabella Gonzalez; brother-in-law Joseph Collins, III; niece Hope Sipocz, nephew-in-law Jerrold Sipocz, Jr., and great niece Mikaela Sipocz; nephew Joseph Collins, IV, and niece-in-law Megan Collins; and ex-wife and longtime friend Katherine "Kitty" Martini. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Butler, stepfather Jimmy Cox, and sister Sylvia Collins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, at 10 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203. Interment will be at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation at www.lupus.org
