Jeffery John Saah, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023, just days before his 69th birthday. Born on July 18, 1954, Jeff lived a fulfilling life marked by intellectual curiosity, an unmatched sense of humor, and a deep devotion to his loved ones.
Jeff was a lifelong learner. His thirst for knowledge led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, an achievement that paved the way for a successful and rewarding career. A man of diverse interests, Jeff was an avid reader of American history, his home library always filled with a variety of books that reflected his expansive knowledge and love for the subject.
In addition to his passion for reading, Jeff also found joy in the intricate world of coin collecting. His expertise in numismatics was widely recognized, and his collection served as a testament to his meticulousness, patience, and appreciation for the art of history embodied in currency.
Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Claire Saah, and his caring sister, Patty Saah. He joins his father, Michael Sam Saah, and sister, Jean Hanna Saah, in peaceful rest. His family takes comfort in the fact that he is reunited with them.
The loss of Jeff leaves an unfillable void, but his memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His generous spirit, kindness, and the joy he brought to others will forever remain a part of his legacy.
A funeral service will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Time on July 21, 2023, at Murphy Funeral Home, located at 4510 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22203. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jeff’s life.
