John Raymond Fisher Jr.

Our Heavenly Father opened his arms and lovingly welcomed and embraced my brother, cousin and friend today. John Raymond Fisher Jr. was the most caring person one could ever meet. A true gentlemen who always held a door for strangers and put the needs of others first. Anyone who met Raymond knew he was there at the drop of a hat, on a moments notice, anytime one needed him. For those that were honored to know Ray, you also knew he was a gentile spirit that volunteered his time liberally for others. Raymond would literally give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar to his name. He was happiest when he was helping others and we treasured our childhood together and many road trips as adults. It is tragic that the man myself and my siblings consider our brother, cousin, friend, father and grandfather lost his life at such a young age. Our family takes comfort knowing he is at peace and resting with his mother Margaret Fisher and his Nana whom he loved beyond measure. Raymond gave so much of himself selflessly to help others during his time on this earth and he leaves a wonderful legacy of kindness for others to replicate. We respect him so much for the personal sacrifices that he made in his own life. Raymond would not want us to be sad at his passing. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude towards life. He would want us to think of all of his accomplishments and all of the wonderful memories we had with him. Raymond was to some a best friend, to others an incredible brother, he believed his most important achievement is having a Daughter, Christina and grandchildren to swell his heart with pride. His memory will live on in all of us, and in everyone he shared his huge heart with. He will be missed, may God Rest his Soul 01-27-1965 to 07-14-2020.
