Marcelina Cinco Cabal, age 65, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023, at Georgetown university hospital with her son Armand “AJ” Cabal at her bedside. Marcelina was commonly known as “Leila”. She was born on July 25, 1957, in Manila, Philippines. She was the eldest daughter of Manuel Y. Cinco and Carmen O. Cinco. She spent her childhood in Catbalogan, Samar. She Graduated in with a bachelor’s degree in both Accountancy and Economics from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 1979.
She was well known for her joyful and jolly attitude. Marcelina was widely respected in the family, among her friends and coworkers, and as a college professor. She dedicated her life to the up brining of her only son AJ and her career as an accountant.
Marcelina Enjoyed reading, watching tv, traveling, and being with friends and family.
A Mass service will be held for Marcelina Cabal on April 1, 2023 at the St Ann’s Roman Catholic church in Arlington, VA.
