Peggy was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1944 to Louis and Catherine Pargny. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, the love of her life, Bob; their children Tom (Tanya) Pruszkowski and Lynne (Wes) Wright; her five grandchildren Kayla, Ryan, Stockton, Catey, and Jenna; and Moxie (her dog). She is also survived by her sister Mary Lou (Bob) Horrocks of New Jersey.
Peggy was beloved by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed. She had an enormously positive influence on the hundreds of children she taught. The Town of Long Island, Maine, is a very special place to Peggy, and she will be interred on the island.
Please join us in celebrating Peggy's life at Murphy’s Funeral Home (4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203) on Wednesday, June 26th, 6:00-8:00 pm. Thursday, June 27th, at 10:30 am, Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (3513 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20007).
Instead of flowers, Peggy would have wanted donations made on her behalf to St. Jude’s to help children.
