Maria was a very caring and loving lady.  I hope she is with our dear Lord in Heaven.

Many years ago, Maria and Marvin made a trip to Africa to visit Fr. David Murungi.  They brought back a beautiful video of their time at his parish and shared it with the teachers at St. Agnes School.  I will never forget Maria and Marvin's enthusiasm and love for the people they met and the traditions they witnessed at Father's parish.  Maria and her husband were a very special couple indeed.  I always remember their smiling faces as they walked into Mass at St. Agnes.  May Maria rest in peace in our Lord's  loving arms.

I will always remember the ferocity of her faith and her beautiful, yet subtle accent that she used as a canvas behind the way she treated others in both word and deed. Her suffering has now subsided and we pray that the Lord will receive her into His arms and bestow consolation on Marvin and her family that will assuage the pain of her loss and remind them of the beauty of His promise of eternal life for those who love him. Maria, riposi in pace. I wish I could have seen you again...but I promise your soul the gift of my prayers at the altar of the Lord. - Rev. Fr. Jason Burchell

Maria, we were so blessed to know you and we will miss you greatly. May you rest in the peace of Our Lord.

I remember Maria as a very loving and kind person.  She and Marvin would go to Mass almost every day at St. Agnes.  She would lead a decade of the rosary after Mass on a lot of the week days.  It was wonderful to hear her clear voice lead the rosary.  I will miss Maria a lot.

I will keep Maria, Marvin, and the Hurley family in my prayers.

Dear Mr. Marvin,
We are so sad to hear of Mrs. Maria’s passing, but happy that she left peacefully and surrounded by her family. She was such a devout and deeply-loved person. We pray that God and Our Lady will be welcoming her in Heaven. We also pray that you will find hope and strength in this difficult time. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. May God bless and protect you always.

Maria,   I will miss our conversations - especially about Medjugorje.  Also, many fond memories of our trip to Rome for the Beatification of St. John Paul II.

Maria, her husband and grandchildren.  What a sweet woman/
 I rejoice that after such a well-lived life, she is in the loving
