Marion Elizabeth Campbell

Marion Elizabeth Campbell (Court) passed away on April 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Marion was born September 26, 1941 in Swansea, Wales to parents Percy and Annie Court. She was the oldest of 7 children. Marion was an avid reader and insatiable learner with an extraordinary vocabulary. She had a determined, stubborn nature and surprising sense of humour one wouldn’t expect from a proper British woman. Marion’s deep passion for wildlife and the natural world was rivaled only by her profound empathy towards others. Although Marion had a lifelong battle with severe asthma, she refused to allow it to define her or limit her zeal for life, travel and adventure. Marion is survived by her sons Alasdair (Chrissy) Campbell and Neil (Nicole) Campbell; her grandsons Owen, Shane, James and Robert; and siblings Gloria, John, Jennifer, Dennis, Diane and Linda. EVENT SCHEDULE 11a - Noon: Gathering Noon - 1p: Memorial service With so many of Marion’s family and friends being overseas, or unable to travel, we have set up a video livestream for the service. Due to technical limitations those viewing the video will be unable to speak during the event. Following the memorial services the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life (4-7p) at a Hendry House in Arlington (https://goo.gl/maps/GHGW3mfEnoUoSZmH7) with food and drink. With so many memories to share, and countless months apart due to the pandemic, it will allow us precious time with all of you to share stories, laugh and cry together.
