On Monday, February 2, 2015 at the age of 73, Martha Ann LaFleur (nee Self) died peacefully at The Jefferson in Arlington. Loving mother to Kathy LaFleur Strauss and her husband, Paul Strauss of Washington, DC and Suzanne (LaFleur) Brandt and her husband, Bill Brandt of Oakton, VA and grandmother to Abigail and Samantha Strauss and Jack and Georgia Brandt. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean LaFleur, in 2007. Born in Birmingham, Martha attended the University of Alabama. She later settled in Alexandria, VA, was a homemaker and then had a near twenty year career with the Department of Defense. Services will be held privately.
