Mary Polizos Porter went to be with her Lord Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick A Porter Jr. and son, “Murph” Porter. Survived by daughter in law Cathy Porter, children: Maria (Mush) Davis, Michael (Stephanie) Porter, grandchildren Tony (Meredith) , Nick (Maria) and , Chris Porter, Shannon and Taylor Porter ; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Josh, Lauren, Christian Porter in addition to many for whom she was a second mother. Also survived by siblings: Effie Lewis, Catherine Duke, John Polizos, and pre-deceased by Irene Nicholson.
She will be remembered as “YiaYia”, a gracious and compassionate woman who accepted everyone unconditionally and spread the love of Christ to her family, friends, co-workers, and everyone she met.
