On Saturday, June 21, 2014, of McLean, VA, beloved husband of Virginia Smith Corey of 66 years, loving father to Maureen Patten (Ralph), Steven Corey (Kathryn), Kevin Corey (Maria), Kathleen Clough (Andrew) and Neil Corey, Jr. (Dawn). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He joined the Air Force in 1944 and was a member of the 509th Composite Group. He spent over 50 years of his career with John Hancock Life Insurance Agency and was an active member of Washington Golf & Country Club and University Club. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Arlington, VA at 11 a.m. A private family burial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Neil's name to Randolph-Macon College, Gift Processing Fund, PO Box 5005, Ashland, Virginia 23005-5505.
