Paul A. Eckstein, Jr. (age 71) of Annandale, VA passed away of a heart attack on September 2, 2013.
Paul was born in Cincinnati, OH on November 7, 1941 and spent his childhood as a military dependent, living in 7 states and Japan, finally moving to Arlington where he graduated from Washington -Lee High School. He attended Georgetown University.
Paul's career led him to Pulsecom in Chantilly, VA where he spent nearly 30 years in supply and logistics management. For 45 years Paul was a devoted fan of car racing. He was a member of the SCCA and Washington Rally Club. He flagged at race tracks in NY, VA, GA, and FL. He also participated in car rally events in the US and Canada.
Paul leaves to mourn his passing his mother Ruth E Eckstein, sisters, Mary Ann Johnson (Cliff) and Martha Yates, nephews Cliff Johnson III, Steve Johnson, and Tony Yates, and many friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
