

She departed this life on February 27, 2026. Peggy attended Philadelphia Elementary School. She also attended Lillian Carey and Luther Jackson in Fairfax, VA. She graduated Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA.
Peggy was a dedicated employee to 711 for many years. There she received several awards for her dedication. She eventually retired from Fairfax County Public Schools as a bus attendant. While there she was dedicated to serving the students and their families.
Peggy was a phenomenal softball player for many years. She used to say “I love playing ball” and “I love knocking the ball over the fence!”.
She loved to laugh and joke. She particularly liked to shop,watch baseball Judge Judy, and true crime shows. She also enjoyed listening to her records.
If you knew Peggy…you know she was unique. She loved her family in a non-traditional way that ONLY Peggy could. She was always giving and giving to all. When her family was in need, she would be right there to help but it might involve consequences as only she could give!.
Finally, she is survived by her brother James Addison (Marie Addison) of McLean, VA. Her daughter, Toya Dore (Marcus Dore) of Aldie, VA. Her grandsons, Troy Addison (Emily Addison) of Summerville, SC. Luke Dore of North Dakota. Her great- grandson, Lincoln. Her nieces Jessica,Jennifer and Kyrstie and nephew Johnnie.
