Oh dear sweet Rose....I miss you every day!  I think of you so 
very often and I know how proud you must be of your precious

There are so many memories for me, but they all have the same feeling…love. I never met someone who embodied the meaning of the word more than Rose. While she shared my mother’s name, she wasn’t, at least not biologically….in every other way she was and I am so grateful that she was such a major influence in my life.  I touched base with her not nearly enough and I’m so sad and ashamed I didn’t push life aside more to make time for her as she did for me, that’s something that I will always regret.  My twins ask about “Ms. Rose” all the time. They met her only once, but she left a mark on them that’s lasted over a decade, what an amazing soul she was.  Thank you Rose for all your love, support, kindness and toughness.  You led me more times than you knew. Your strength and honor carried me through so many tough times in my life and helped me broaden my perspective.  You showed me how real love should feel and how people should be treated, because God knows how much you put up with and the grace and dignity you showed.  You’ll be in my heart forever, I love you.

Sandeep and I are so sorry for your loss. We can only imagine how difficult it must be. While we didn’t get the chance to know Rose well, we felt her presence in our neighborhood - and certainly through you and your kids. We know she was amazing because she let Mike become a rockin’ drummer, after all!!!

Rachel and I will always remember and cherish The Annual Nicholas Christmas party! That's when we would gather with  The Clan and soak in the love,the food and the all the zaniness! Several years,Rose would be in her chair,smiling and greeting people like the Queen that she will always be. She was always so kind to my Rachel and me,and will be forever missed-Rest ye in Peace!!!

What can I say. My second Mother from my childhood has passed and gone to a much better place. What an amazing woman she was. Always had open arms for everyone you brought home and I have so many incredible memories from probably 3rd grade on or whatever year it was my parents started letting make the three block trek across Wilson Blvd to your house which ended up being practically every day as we made our way through Elementary, High School and after. She surely had her hands full with us but you know what ? She trusted for some reason our decisions and often just shook her head and let us find out on our own if those decisions were right or wrong. Remember vividly having Blind Pigeon that your Grandmother cooked in your kitchen and enjoying every bite even though I never even heard of it. Your Mom welcomed me into your house like she did so many and her love and comforting hugs would always bring us back, a breath of fresh air from any strict atmosphere that we dealt with at home. I Love Rose Nicholas, she was an amazing influence in my young life. I know that you guys understand what a beautiful and giving Mother you had and I know that she has a special spot in Heaven to look down on all of us as we move closer to seeing her again. I Love You Guys !

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Rose only for a short time years ago when she would come into the IPEC-Americas office and do binding of documents and I was so impressed with her. She was a sweetheart!

   How I will miss talking to you and laughing and laughing until you had to get off the phone.  Your life was not an easy one but being such a strong woman, you overcame it all.  You carried love in your heart for all, adored your beautiful family and enjoyed simple things.  I learned so much from you and will carry our conversations and your advice forever.  About what Dad said...”I may not be the best,  but I’m better than the rest!”. That is YOU, my dear Friend.  Rest In Peace knowing the many lives you touched, the unconditional love you gave to all, and that you will never be forgotten. The very best of you lives on in your family and many friends.

Rose, Rose, Rose 🌹! My forever friend and confidant.  Always there when I needed you - whether close or from afar.  My heart is broken and I will miss you beyond words.  I love you my dear friend! We had the pleasure of meeting Rose nearly 40 years ago and have remained extended "family" ever since.  Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother.   
She was always generous with her time and love.  We were blessed with so many happy occasions together, i.e. school sport games, birthdays, graduations and all  family celebrations together (and P-King duck!  What a joy she was.  Rose will always be missed by those precious memories  and they will be with all of us, forever.  May Rose rest in peace for a life well lived.
