He earned an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tom Grigsby had an illustrious career at Bell Laboratories, Denver Research Institute, Uptime Corporation, and the US Patent Office.
He had been a resident of Arlington, VA for 54 years. He travelled to places in the USA and abroad, notably England, Canada, Scotland, Italy, Wales, Spain, and India. He was a participating member in the IEEE and NARFE organizations.
Tom died in Arlington at age 92. He was a proud member of his beloved National Grigsby Family Society.
Tom outlived his younger brother Henry Jefferson Grigsby Jr. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sarojini Bhogaraju Grigsby, and his son Franklin B. Grigsby, a PhD. physicist.
