Tony William Archiletti

On March 18, 2017 in Warrenton, VA, Archie, died peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Manown, PA. He was a long time resident of New Eagle, PA and for the last 11 years lived in Springfield, VA near his family. He was a Steelworker/electrician throughout the Mon Valley and loved to garden in his spare time. He was a WWII Veteran who proudly served in the Navy. He would watch his Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football every weekend. Archie will join his father, Bartolomeo Archiletti, and his mother Ada Lee Archiletti, his brother Silvester, and two sisters, Inez of Manown, PA and Theresa Davis of Monongahela, PA, and his cousins, Mary Costantino and Olivia Tackberry, his nephew, Russell Costantino and niece, Carol Doty, who are all deceased. Archie is survived by his wife, Rose Archiletti of 49 wonderful years. He has a daughter, Kathy Buchhofer who is married to Henry (Jim) Buchhofer VI. They live in Springfield, VA. He has three grandchildren: Henry, Anna, and Emma who he adored with every inch of his heart and soul. He is also survived by his nephews Paul Jr., William Davis, David Doty and their families, along with cousins, Armand and James Costantino and their families, Cheryl Aichele’s family and Tracey, Terry, and Robin Tackberry’s and their families. Archie has many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Italy. A memorial service is planned for 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Monongahela, PA on March 25. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name online to Hospice Capital Caring.
