William Daniel Keough

William D. Keough (Bill) passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Bill was born in New York City on September 13, 1931 to William G. and Grace V. Keough. He graduated from All Hallows High School in Bronx, New York. He then attended Fordham University where he received his Bachelor’s degree, later earning a Master’s degree in English at NYU. Bill travelled the globe serving in the US Navy, and then worked for many years in the investment field. Bill worked in New York City for First National City Bank, and later moved the family to Maryland to assume the role of Director of Investor Relations at Martin Marietta. Bill was predeceased by Pat, his wife of 57 years. He is survived by his four sons, Bill, Greg, Jonathan, and Tim, and 11 grandchildren. A wake is scheduled from 4-6pm on Wednesday May 1, 2024 at the Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington, VA. A mass of remembrance will take place on Thursday May 2, 2024 at St. John the Beloved Church in McLean, VA at 11am.
