

Jerry Keith Smith, 68, passed away February 23, 2012 in Stanwood, WA. He was born to Charles and Dorathy Smith December 23, 1943 in Seattle, WA. After graduating from Ballard High School in Seattle, he attended the Burnley Art School to receive his Associates Degree in graphic arts. Jerry spent his career as a graphic designer. He enjoyed playing basketball as a young man. Jerry had many hobbies and interests, including reading, drawing, going to movies, cruising anywhere with family and friends, vacationing, making family calendars, taking pictures and spoiling the family dogs, Tramp and Abby. He was a patient, kind, very funny and quick-witted husband, father and grandfather. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jill Marie Smith of Stanwood; children, Kevin (Karin) Smith of Snohomish, WA, Tina Michajla (Brad) Baxter, Snohomish, WA and Jodi Michajla (Jason) Hopkins of Arlington, WA; siblings, Samuel Smith of Sequim, WA, Linda Gentry of Everett, WA; and grandchildren, Alex, Morgan, Simon, Elisha, Mary, Michajla and Jason. A Funeral will be held Friday, March 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1200 E. 5th St., Arlington, WA. Memorial donations may be made to the Walk Now for Autism Speaks (walknowforautismspeaks.org) or the Arlington Boys & Girls Club.
