To John's family, I ended up at the wrong place to see John off today.  I promised Iver Staupe I'd be there.  Sorry I was unable to find the place, and fulfill my promise.  John was real easy to work with and I always enjoyed his laugh.  Jim Jackson

I haven't talked to him in many years but it breaks my heart to hear such an amazing person was taken from us all. I proud to say I got to know him and that he is my kids great grand father. My simply goes out to his beautiful wife Linda, his children, and the rest of the family.

I am so saddened to hear of John's passing. I just saw him the week before he died....and if I remember correctly...he wasn't wearing his oxygen! I thought he had gotten so much better. I always thought the world of John. My heart goes out to you, Linda and Kim and Chris. Hugs and love to you all.
