Kevin Charles Adams (Bergsing) passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Granite Falls, on Monday, February 23, 2026. He was 59. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother and adopted father; Linda and Donald Adams, and his father Robert Bergsing. He is survived by his sister and her husband; Lystra & Eric Whitaker, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin was born in Everett, WA. He lived in Arizona for a short time as a child, then moved to Granite Falls, WA, where he went to school and participated in football, wrestling and baseball. He graduated in 1985 from Granite Falls High School. Kevin was always boisterous and fun loving with everyone he encountered.
He was most proud of his service in the US Navy, where he had the privilege of being a part of the recommissioning crew of the USS Missouri BB63. He also had the privilege of going on 3 or 4 world tours on that great battleship. His favorite port was Perth, Australia. He always said if he ever got the chance to travel, he would definitely go back there.
After his time in the Navy, Kevin worked for many years in the rock quarries of Granite Falls as a heavy equipment operator, and later worked as a security guard for several banks in the Everett, WA area. He didn't want to have any celebrations of his life, nor any flowers. Kevin was a good brother and friend to all and always thought of others before himself. When he could be, he was generous and thoughtful.
He will be missed by those who knew him well.
