Lawrence Edward Jacobson beloved father, grandfather and friend passed away on January 9 in Mount Vernon, Washington. Born on January 23, 1948 in Everett, Washington. He lived his whole life in Arlington Washington.
Larry’s professional career reflected his ability to fix anything with a motor. Most notably he worked at Valley Repair and Bryant Hardware and Implement in Stanwood, Wa, where he repaired farm equipment for many of the farmers in the area. He was a well known mechanic and character in the farming community.
Larry enjoyed the outdoors, spending his younger years fishing and hunting with friends and family. Later in life he loved tinkering in “the shop”- building motors and fixing whatever equipment friends and family brought to him. His door was always open. Sitting under the Cherry tree in the summer with his daughters and friends was one of his favorite things to do. Those who knew him will remember his long stories and quick wit. Larry will be greatly missed by many.
Larry is survived by his two daughters Tracy Jacobson and Stacy Brock (Anthony), grandchildren, Jessica Ehrhard ( Nick), Nicole Bichsel (Jamie), and Kristi Swan. Larry also leaves behind several lifelong friends who were like brothers to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Thora Jacobson, sibling Linda Jacobson and his wife Janet Jacobson. May Larry find eternal peace in God’s loving embrace.
