Lennin, WE will miss you so much.... you were an example cause even through your pain you always had a smile. Jake, Eli, and Ben will miss you not only cause your were their cousin but because you always made time for them when they visit. It’s still hard for me to process the fact that you aren’t here anymore Lenny. The last time I saw you in March of 2020, everything was good - life was good. I never could have imagined that that would be the last time I’d get to hug you. I will always remember your smile and the way you never failed to hold a positive attitude and demeanor, even when life got really hard. You took everything in stride. You never had a negative thing to say about anyone and you saw best in everyone around you. You made everyone around you better for it. You went home to heaven way too soon for us but the impact you made on our lives will continue on. We will love you forever buddy.

Cousin, I thank God for bringing you to our lives. Since you were little, your smile and positive vibes always brought peace to our hearts. Although it wasn't for a very long time jamming with you during worship time at church along with your dad and all our family (which was most of the church) has been one of my nicest memories. Thank you for always sharing your music cds with me so I can update my playlists. You impacted the lives of my kids as well and you taught us that life is to short to not always be happy. You will truly be missed. Family time will not be the same without you. Rejoice in the presence of the Lord for I am sure he is rejoicing to have you there with your biggo cheeser. Love you cousin! Thanks for accepting us as your family!

Primo mi corazón esta triste con tu partida, yo sé que no éramos muy apegados debido a la distancia, pero eras mi sangre, mi familia y el no tenerte aquí o el saber que no te volveré a ver duele. Uno muchas veces no se explica como puede ser que tu siendo tan joven tuviste que partir tan pronto; pero tengo la tranquilidad que una persona con tu luz no tiene otro destino que ir al cielo y sé que iluminarás nuestro camino y nos protegerás desde allá.

I only knew Lenny for a few years , but in those few years he was an amazing friend. I remember him taking our mutual friends around the LA area during a convention. It was amazing getting to know you and call you a friend. You will be missed !

Time will heal the brokenness inside me baby brother, so I hope. The joy you gave me the love of a brother I received from you is truly Beautiful. I loved you from the moment you came into my life Lennin. When we meet that first day without fully knowing who you where I wanted to love on you, thank you for never rejecting my love but instead reciprocated that same love. I didn’t know loving someone could be so effortless. Everything inside me feels empty and I have to keep remembering just how much memories I can still hold on to so I can build myself and my house back up. The comfort I have is  sharing stories with your nephew about you and reminding him how brave you truly where and how his name   ties you both together. Rest In Peace sweet loving brother. You will always be my baby brother Lennin and some day I’ll be ok. 

Te conocí desde hace más de 20 años primo, pasamos varios momentos juntos cada que teniamos la ocasión de visitarnos en la adolescencia, ir a six flags, viajar con los abuelos, me perdí los últimos 3 años, aún así jugamos videojuegos online cada que podíamos. 
Espero nuestros familiares y todos tus amigos te sigan recordando con cariño, confío que encontraremos la paz, ya que ahora estarás en nuestros corazones.

It was my pleasure to help Lennin and his family during this difficult time. Every conversation that I had with Lennin was always optimistic  he always felt that he would beat the disease. My thoughts and prayers to his family

I met Lennin over 10 years ago and he quickly became family. We’ve had so many memories over the years with our friends. Car rides, concerts, History class, Bible Club,Disneyland, crazy youth group games, Sunday selfies, Baja Blasts, and all the moments in between. I’m better for knowing you. You’ve taught me that life really is an adventure if you let it be one. That even in the toughest times you look to God, give a thumbs up, and carry on. See you soon. 

I don't know how to start, except for that my heart is broken for you , little brother. my memories with you are mostly of us as kids. I picked on you but was protective of you at the same time, as a sister should. but I won't sit here and say that I was the best sister to you when we grew up, because I wasn't. and that's a regret I have to live with. I'm so torn, because if it was anyone that deserved a long happy life, it was you. only 28 years, it sounds so short..but God had other plans for you. I'm glad you're no longer suffering, You were so brave how you took it all on, no matter how you felt, every time I asked how you were you said "I'm good" and so positive about everything..Life isn't always fair, I know, but I still can't help but wish none of this happened to you. You had the kindest eyes and a contagious smile but most of all, a heart of gold. I love you little brother..I hope you have fun up there. I don’t think of him as gone. I think his journey’s just begun because life holds so many facets and earth is only one. I think of him just resting from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years. 

I think of how he must be wishing that we could know today (not sure what u mean here) , how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. 

Think of him as living in the hearts of those he has touched. For nothing is never truly lost. He was loved so much.

I've met Lennin about 3 years ago now and those 3 years were a blast. I considered him one of my best friends even though he lives across the pond. The week we spent together in LA with a bunch of other friends was easily the best week of my life and will cherish these memories forever. It still doesn't feel real to me that he is gone and I know nothing can change that but I just wish to speak with him once more...

Good bye my friend. We will miss you.

I have known Lennin for a few years, and he has always been one of my dearest friends. He always had a smile and happy attitude that spread to everyone around him. He never failed to bring joy and laughs to myself and our mutual friends with his big heart or silliness. One of the fondest memories I hold is when he introduced me (and many of our other friends) to southern California and made me fall in love with the area. It was nothing but good vibes and memories that we’ll never forget the entire week with our friend group. Thank you for being such a great friend to me and everyone else during your life Lenny. I’ll miss you dearly, but I know you’ll always be with us in spirit ❤️

I've only known lenny for a short 4 years but in those 4 years he was a great man and even better friend. Wish I could enjoy one more gaming session with him or hang out at another convention. I will miss him dearly,  but I have great memories to remember him by. I know he will always be looking over us and smiling. My best wishes to his family and friends.

I have known Lennin since High School. One of my truest friends that will be truly missed. He gave me a flyer one summer to join church at South Coast Fellowship and I will never ever forget that.  Because of him, I had a chance to learn more about God and a chance to make more friends but, more importantly to get to know my own friend better. He was there when I was baptized and cheered me on. I never forgot the time he needed a ride home and I told him don't worry, I will get you home and I did. I hung out with this awesome guy 2 summers in a row. I was proud hearing he wanted to serve his country but, sad we communicated less. Lennin, your wings were ready and our hearts were not. Fly high with the angels. I know they're celebrating with you around. Gone but, not forgotten. Forever in our hearts. Till we meet again my dear friend. And when we do we'll say, "It's about time you made it here and I am happy to see you again." Rest Peacefully in Heaven Sweet Boy. Loved by so many and touched so many lives. I'll miss you!

Lennin and I were pretty close back in 2011. We went to the same youth group and spent a lot of time hanging out with friends. One of those times was when he invited me to a Kerri Roberts concert. After the show we went to go meet her and there is a picture of us where Lennin is in the picture normally but somehow I forgot how to be in a picture normally lol. We laughed about it for hours afterwards. I’m gonna miss Lennin. He was a kind and caring and gentle soul.

I have know Lennin since middle school, and he has never been in a bad mood he was always there to cheer me up when I had a bad day he was always there with a smile on his face every day. Every time someone talked to him they would smile and laugh and he was such a good person I am so sad to see him gone he was one of my really good friends and he will be really missed but he is with the Lord now. Thank you Lennin for being such a good friend. 

Lennin what can I say about him, words truly can’t describe how much he meant to me, I first met him, at Rio de Valle Middle school  back in 2005, like most 7th graders we were thrown into a new environment you don’t know anyone and your just looking for acceptance, and by the Grace of God we Both Found it sitting across from each other at the Lunch Table. Who would’ve thought then that it would’ve Sparked a friendship that lasted 16 years. Lenny and I were always together then, hanging out at our lunch spot near the basketball court, we had the same Classes just different periods of the day and we’d tell each other what teachers were throwing quiz’s and what the questions were based on. We Graduated Junior High together in June of 2007, we had my graduation/Birthday party and Lenny was there which was Awsome, we only hung out twice that summer but we always talked to each other every other day we both had prepaid phones so we waited till we both had free mins after a certain hour to call one another. We went to Separate HighSchools I went to Pacifica he went to Ventura High but we always Hung out every other weekend he was over at my house or visa versa, I remember us planning on Trick or treating back in 2008 we literally planned and hit up my surrounding neighborhood and came home late and my mom scolded us saying “we shouldn’t have been out so late”, but I didn’t care at the time i saw it as I got to hang out with my Best friend, time went on and eventually I saw Lenny as more of a Brother than a Friend and I believe he felt the same about me, I’m Always Going to Miss him deeply we didn’t have the Same Last Name or share the Same Blood, He was My Brother

We’ve known Lennin for about 10 years and are all better because of it. We can’t stop talking about how we never saw him with a bad attitude or judge anyone ever. He forever saw everything as an adventure and never really said “no” to a new experience or going beyond his comfort zone. Lennin was this constant beam of joy. We’ve had countless adventures and memories over the years. Some of us have even grown up together! We will carry him with us forever. He truly was the best of all of us. May Heaven be his best adventure yet. We are sure there’s a drum set up there!  - Andrea, Emily, Pastor Mark + Pam, Brian, Rachel C, Rachel H,  Jillian, and the whole Lighthouse family!
