Lee enjoyed hunting, camping, putt-putt golf, clam digging, black berry picking, her flower gardens, and baby-sitting all the young kids. She would have you laughing with her “one-liners”, greeting you at her door with open arms, and packing her home with loved ones until it was “standing room only.”
Lee was preceded in death by siblings: John Delaney, Iris Sletten, and Marge Meeker. She is survived by her sisters: Louise Hammer, Diana Pasco, Joanne Sheehan, and Louella Preaeger. She is also survived by her son Marvin Michael Yandle and his wife Lisa, grandchildren: Diedra Matys, Christine Yandle, Jonathan Yandle, Michelle Turner, and Lorie Wellman, and 8 great-grandchildren. Lee held a special place in her heart for Art Unruh (her “King Arthur”) and his children: Mary (Dennis) Thornton, Jerry (Sue) Unruh, and Art (Mary) Unruh, Jr; and his grandchildren David, Brandon, and Aaron.
She became “bestest” friends with the purchase of a used car from Neil Knutson and his wife, Charlotte, and her “bestest” little boys, Nelson Knutson and Nolan Knutson.
Services will take place at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington, WA. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 18th from 1-5pm and a memorial service will take place on Friday, December 19th at 11am with a reception and graveside service following.
Lee is thankful to all that helped make her sunset comfortable including her friends, Holley, Saundra, Mary, and her King Arthur.
