My dad and I just learned of this sad news yesterday.  We will miss chatting with Mike while playing the nickel slots.  I always looked forward to our conversations and seeing him get excited about free spins.  Bridget and I will always remember his jovial voice and his infectious smile.  Hope to see you soon Alicia and our thoughts are with you.

Mike was aka Mayor Mike of our neighborhood. Mike had a genuine care and concern for his neighbors and was always on top of neighborhood news. He was a lawn care Artison and we always took his advice to heart. His smiling, friendly attitude was a hallmark of his goodness. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

He was a positive influence on countless lives. So sorry to hear he has left so soon. We'll always remember him fondly.

 So sorry to hear Mike has passed. God Bless his Family. Had not been in touch for years. We both entered the Military and went our different ways. He was a great young man with a great sense of humor. Rest in peace my Friend!

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing.He was always a good friend even though I didn't see him often.I would always think of Mike when I see his brother Tom walk into church here in Defiance. Mike's service to our country is something his family can be very proud of. i looked at all of your pictures and what a beautiful family he has. God's peace to all of you.

Alice, Tom and I were shocked to read Gil Daigle's comment in Facebook about Mike's passing. Mike was a good person and always had that winsome smile. Heaven gained another angel in him; we are truly sorry for your loss. May Mike's soul rest in peace and may perpetual light shines upon him.

Mike was an awesome man and he will be deeply missed by everyone. My condolences to Alice and all of his friends and loved ones which are many. Heaven has gained a great Angel.

Aunt Alice and family, Words cannot express how sadden Gary and I were to hear of Uncle Mike's passing. Our thoughts and prayers have been with all of you this week, and will continue. The miles have been long, but with all the facebook shares and the pictures we could tell how much he loved his family. He lived full and happy. We love you all.

To my VAQ-134 Garuda shipmate, I will always remember your ever present smile and hearty laugh.  I cherish the memories of such a great friend and mentor.

Loved the guy, he was a father-in-law, a friend and at times, larger than life! We will miss him and we have been remembering him this week. I'd be remiss if I didn't leave a couple quotes: "Right on"; "Hey dork"; "Come here you hunk a woman"; "let's play some uucher(Euchre)"; "It's your crib Heidi"; "You're my favorite Daughter right now"; "Let's go to BOOM CITY"; "I'm going to Walmart, who wants to come?"....Love you Mike. 

We're saddened to learn of our cousin Mike's passing.  While we haven't seen Mike for many years, strong memories remain of our trips to Aunt Zip's home in Defiance and seeing all the kids, including Mike.  His friendliness and strong sense of family will be missed.  The Wauseon cousins, Mary Jane, Randy and Garry, children of Glenn and Frances Schlosser

To the best Grandpa I've ever had,

I will always be your grand baby from day one. Since I was born, you have always been there for me. I will cherish every moments we have made. You were so funny, outgoing, kind hearted and a loving man. You will be missed so dearly. No words can describe how much I love and miss you. You were the one who took anyone with open hands and treated them like family. I will miss your laugh, your smile, your wonderful cooking, your hugs and kisses. Best part was knowing you got to be there to see your great grand baby Maliya Snow. She does love you too. I will always remind her of you and keep talking about how great of a Grandpa you were to me. Every night I go to bed I pray that you are having the time of your life in Heaven. No man can replace what you have done. I remember always talking on the phone with you when we had the chance when you were on the ship and telling you about my day. I will miss the little things about you like how you sit in your throne and watch tv with me or how you would just randomly text me about your new IPhone you got for Christmas. Those little things will be greatly missed. But don't worry about Grandma because we will be taking care of her by all of us. You are one lucky man to be married to her. Grandma is very strong and misses you dearly. She knows you are the best thing that has happened to her because she cares so deeply for you. There is always a spot in all of our hearts for you. I could go on for ever talking about how great you are and what an impact you have made but then I would need a ton of pages! You will never be forgotten. I love you Grandpa!

I met Mike and Alice 10yrs ago and they have been in not only my life but my kids life. I love this man. It's been heart breaking to hear of his passing. Such an amazing man that is Truely missed by so many people. His life was his Alice and family. My condolances to all of his family and friends. ❤

I also had the pleasure of working directly for Mike, he was an amazing Master Chief who always took care of his men.  He will be forever remembered.  We had some exciting times together that I will forever cherish.  Rest easy my friend, for now we stand the watch!

We all miss you at the Whidbey Golf Club. God has taken the best darn AZCM the Navy has ever known. I got the Con Masterchief! May you rest in peace.

Uncle Mike was always a breathe of fresh air, funny, kind and always made us all (especially my dad) so happy when he and Alice and the boys would visit us in Defiance.  He was the only person in the world that could call my dad  "little brother Ronnie" and my dad would LIKE it!  Everyone was noticeably happier and excited when Mike was around. I love you Aunt Alice and we are praying for you, the boys and all of your family, especially those little grandkids that Mike cherished so much!  His big voice and big hugs will be so sadly missed.

You will be missed by the entire neighborhood. Rest in piece Masterchief.

You earned the name "Mayor Mike" long before I entered your neighborhood! You were the very first person I met when I moved to Washington. The most neighborly neighbor there ever was. Always so welcoming, helpful, generous and friendly. Your will be so very much missed and we will love on the sweet family you've left behind. Comforting prayers to ALL!!!
