Robert Wayne Lamb passed away July 29, 2014 in Everett, WA. He was born to Eva Hammer and Robert Lamb on January 25, 1929 in Tacoma, WA. Robert served in the United States Marine Corp from 1945 to 1951. He proudly served in WWII and Korea. Robert was a lineman for a private contractor and Snohomish County PUD for over 30 years. He lived in the Snohomish County area for the majority of his life. Robert was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Eagles and IBEW Local 77. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, doing yard work and building anything from concrete animals to houses. His favorite vacation spot was Mazatlan, Mexico. Robert is survived by his three children, Theresa (Joe) Legare, Scott (Cindy) Lamb, Janice (David) Hall, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews as well as a close friend and caretaker Kathy VanBuskirk.
As per Robert’s request, private services will be held at Arlington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
