Rosalie Mae Borcher Bratley

Rosalie Mae Bratley, 72, passed to be with her Lord Jesus, August 25, 2011 in Arlington, WA. She was born to Louis and Lucille Borchers September 27, 1938 in Kansas City, KS. Rosalie graduated from Oceanside High School in Oceanside, CA in 1956. She became a bookkeeper, working for various organizations as well as having her own bookkeeping company. Rosalie’s main interests were family, traveling and quilting. She was an active Christian. Preceding her in death was her father Louis J. Borchers. Surviving Rosalie was her loving husband of 51 years, Melvin Bratley of Arlington; children, Michael (Brenda) Bratley of Palmer, AK, Cheryl (Ken) Rhoads of Arlington; mother Lucille Borchers of Arlington; siblings Dorothy (Jim) Minkler of Santee, CA, Marilyn (Sam) Fratto of Las Vegas, NV, Bonnie (Jim) Williams of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Brandon (Holly) Bratley of Burlington, WA, Cori Bratley of Omaha, NE, Brock Bratley of Palmer, AK; great-grandchildren, Raelyn Bratley of Burlington, Merari Rivas and Eli Rivas of Omaha, NE. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Free Methodist Church, 730 E. Highland Dr. Arlington, WA 98223. Memorial donations may be made to the Moses Fund of Arlington Free Methodist Church.
