Albert "Butch" Basden Jr.

Albert Basden Jr., age 77, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Born December 21, 1947 in St Louis, MO to the late Albert Sr. and Harley Basden (nee Wells); beloved husband of Bonnie Basden (nee James); loving father of Kim (Gary) Jones and Christine (Edward) Vasel; dearest grandfather of Kasey (Anthony) Parrott, Corey (Chelsea) Vasel, Kaylyn (Ryan) Keeven, Brett (Summer) Vasel, Allyson Jones and Madyson Jones; cherished great grandfather of Dominic Parrott, Karaline Parrott, Baylor Vasel, Kendall Parrott, Charleigh Keeven, Camryn Vasel, Clayton Keeven, Blake Vasel, Roman Parrott and the Vasel twins to arrive soon; dear brother of Gene "Lanny" (Ann) Basden, Debbie (Gerald) Horton and the Late Lana (Ross) Cowin; od loving Uncle, Great uncle, Cousin and friend that will be greatly missed.

Albert loved being outside, enjoying fishing, gardening and doing yard work. He also enjoyed college basketball, the cardinals, blues and chiefs, working on genealogy, watching westerns and above all else, his greatest love was spending time with his family.

A visitation for Albert will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
