 Obituario de Beverly L. Carnahan
Beverly L. (nee Lancaster) Thompson-Carnahan, age 86, was welcomed into heaven the morning of March 14, 2023. She was born on August 25, 1936 in Crystal City, Missouri to the late Henry and Esther Lancaster. She was the youngest of ten children, all of her siblings have preceded her in death. She grew up with parents who loved their children more than anything. They were not worldly, however; they had everything they needed in each other. This beautiful trait carried through in her personality and actions towards how she treated others. Beverly married Norman L. Thompson in November of 1951, they were together until Norman's death in August of 1985. From their union, three children were born; Norman (Susie) Thompson, Beverly (David) Knoebel, and Rodney (Mary) Thompson. She was a loving and kind mother, always encouraging her children to be the best they could be and learn as much as possible. She always welcomed friends and family to a meal and never hesitated to do more than what was needed. Beverly worked for the Girl Scout Uniform factory while Norman served in the Korean War. After her children were born, she worked for Windsor School District as a cook. Later she worked at Kroger in the deli. She loved to be busy, so there was always a garden and canning to be done, all which she truly enjoyed. As life moved forward, Beverly was later introduced to Clyde Carnahan through her pastor at church. The two met, dated, fell in love, and they married in April of 1987. She was blessed to love Clyde's children; Clyta (Clifton) Lunsford, Keith (Cheryn) Carnahan, and Nancy (Steve) Proctor. Beverly and Clyde were happily married. Unfortunately, Clyde passed in February of 2012. Beverly is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She cherished and loved them dearly. Her smile and laughter will be missed, until we meet again. A visitation for Beverly will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. A private burial will take place at Shepherd of the Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri. Contributions in Beverly's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , https://www.stjude.org. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.heiligtagfuneralhome.com for the Carnahan family.
