Charlie "Butch" Lang

Charlie "Butch" Lang of House Springs, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the age of 68. Cherished husband of Patsy Ann Lang (nee Lathim). Loving father of Shawn Charles (the late Christine "Cricky") Lang, Heather Joy Lang, Kyle Patrick (Shannon) Lang and the late Karen Delores Lang. Dearest grandfather of Katlyn B. Lang, Tristan L. Jacobson, Logan R. Jacobson, Tyler N. Lang, Melina G. Lang and Peyton E. Lang. Beloved son of Charles F. and Pauline E. Lang (nee Pleimann). Dear brother of Nancy Withey, Steve Lang, Janice Ott, Brenda Schmidt, Fred Lang and Mary Potts. Our dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

Charles was a very spirited child who loved sports. He met the love of his life, Patsy, and married her on November 22, 1969. He was a devoted, loving, and very involved father to Shawn, Heather, and Kyle. He adored his grandchildren and put many smiles on their faces. In his 30's he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and fought the disease with strength and determination for over 35 years. Anyone that met Charlie, fell in love with him. He could be best described as funny, mischievous, caring, strong willed, kindhearted, determined, and loving. He put a smile on many faces and captured the hearts of anyone he met. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Funeral from Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Missouri on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. then to St. John Catholic Church for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.heiligtagfuneralhome.com.
