Diane Virginia Klamert, 77 years young, of Imperial, Missouri, passed away on April 7, 2026.
Diane was born on May 1, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John and Virginia Kilper. From an early age, she carried a warmth and strength that would go on to define her life and the countless people she touched.
Above all else, Diane loved her family. She was a true beacon to those around her—steadfast, compassionate, and endlessly devoted. Her greatest joy was gathering her grandchildren during the holidays, where laughter, love, and her thoughtfully chosen craft projects filled the room. She had a deep appreciation for creativity, especially hand-painted art, and found peace and happiness in Antiquing and trout fishing at Bennett Springs alongside her beloved husband and favorite fishing partner, Terry.
Diane often spoke fondly of her trip to Europe just after high school, a journey she cherished as one of the most memorable experiences of her life. She carried that spirit of curiosity and appreciation for life with her always.
Throughout her life, Diane worked at Shop 'n Save, BMW, and alongside her husband at Klamert Homes, where together they built not only a business but a legacy of hard work and partnership that spanned decades.
An avid reader, Diane had an extraordinary gift—she could finish a 500-page book in just two days and recall every detail with remarkable clarity. Her love for reading led her through hundreds of books, each one enriching her ever-curious mind.
Diane’s faith was her foundation. Her prayers were her superpower, offering comfort, strength, and guidance to family and friends through life’s challenges and milestones. She loved fiercely and intentionally, and in return, she was deeply loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Klamert; her Children; Dawn (Mark) Schmaltz, Danielle (Craig) Tilley, and Christian (Adam) Hayes, Terry-Dean (Dawn) Klamert; her cherished grandchildren, Derek, Corey, Casey, Caley, Cody, and Emma, Roxanne, Dominic; and her great-grandchildren, Braxton Griffin and Sutton Kettler. She is also survived by her brother, David Kilper.
Diane was preceded in death by her son, Derek Norris, and her brother, Dennis Kilper.
Diane’s legacy is one of unwavering love, faith, and devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
