Dorma Jean Morris (nee Pittman), 91 of Arnold,passed away peacefully on December 24, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Wanda Pittman (nee Hicks) and loving wife of the late Richard William Morris. Dorma was the beloved mother of Jan (Gwen) Morris, Bradley Morris, Gloria Dahlquist, Gayle (Robert) Birrell and Valerie Morris. She was the adoring grandmother of Alison Hermann, Brady Morris, Timothy Kleiman and great grandmother of Abigail, Emily, Isabella and Grace.
Dorma was a homemaker, a musician who taught piano and played in the Handbell Choir at Church. She loved to quilt and a knit. Using her talents she made afghans for babies and donated them to the Pregnancy Crisis Center. She also made fabulous pies, loved gardening and to read. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arnold.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 am, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO. 63010. The funeral service will be conducted immediately following the visitation in the funeral home. Interment will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. In memory of Dorma, donations are encouraged to the Hand n Hand Pregnancy Crisis Center, 7018 B US Hwy. 61-67, Barnhart, MO. 63012.
